I got to the point where my iPod's batteries died and I haven't recharged it yet. I just dumped a ton of music on it too, but I guess it could be the dreaded iPod fatigue disease. Meh, its all the same. I hear that Oasis is putting out a new record. I'll probably listen to it in a couple of years. My hatred for Coldplay continues to grow. Their boring music is ruining everything, and all their songs appear on sappy girl movie previews. I honestly don't really care that much for whatever is going on in the music world. Unless it falls under the genre: Nighttime Jazz, I'm not going to listen to it.
Music is too big now. Every one's blog, myspace, facebook, and website bombards you with mp3's videos for obscure indie bands that all want a piece of credibility. Your mustaches and thrift store clothing won't do it. I'm sorry.
I'm disgruntled because as far as 90's alternative rock was concerned, no bands survived past 2002 with anything worth listening to. Pearl Jam? I never really liked them to begin with. Smashing Pumpkins? Not without James Iha dangit, oh no! Weezer totally sucks, and their music is unbearable. Beck is still good, though I prefer his acoustic albums to his weird ones.
But but but... what about ? No. I don't care. I can't listen to it because of the dreaded iPod Fatigue disease. I will give music a chance in 2 years.

Bwn Folds, Counting Crows, Foo Fighters, Ben Harper. Just give them a chance Davy. Good music still lives.
I don't think it does. The Fighters are still on the good list though.
I'll come back to music some time in 2010.
