Nethack is killing me. No matter how much I try to figure out this simple dos game, I always freaking die around the 5th or 8th level. I get paralyzed by a Beholder, or get zapped by a ghost of one of my former characters. I don't have the brain power to memorize all of the keyboard shortcuts. There are too many choices and the randomness of it just aggravates me. How can a game that is so simple in design be so freaking hard??
I'm going to beat this game, or die trying.
