When I think of Beverages of the Past, my heart returns to Pina Buena. I wouldn't mess with this pineapple soda. While I was in Puerto Rico we drank Pina Buena as a right of passage. Of course the coolness was amplified one thousand fold by the fact that the beverage was bottled in old green Heineken bottles... yeah it was awesome. Pina Buena was a beverage of the gods and as a mere mortal... I was unworthy of its taste. But after having partaken of that fountain of life, I can say that I am empowered with divine gifts from heaven.
