A Different Drum


Utah based record label that specializes in Sythpop music.


I was way into this stuff about 10 years ago. A friend of mine made mix tapes of music from this label and passed them around school. I'm not sure if he knew any of the bands, or the head of the label, or what, but the music was pretty good. Think Depeche Mode circa Music for the Masses. Some good stuff. Though I really haven't kept up with it for a long long time, I think it deserves a listen. My favorite artists were B! Machine, Kiethevez, The Nine, and System 22. Most of the bands look like they are still going strong after all this time.

When I get home from work, I'm going to download some tunes.
