Birdman was a classic late 60's Hanna-Barbera superhero show. They were shown a long time ago on the Cartoon Network in the small episode format. Birdman, powered by the Sun, fought various enemies with his solar blasts and flew through the sky... like a bird. Most of the Hanna-Barbera superhero shows from the 60's are just superb: Johnny Quest, The Herculoids, The Galaxy Trio, and Space Ghost. Youtube them and you won't be disappointed. The dialog is just terrible, and the animation is minimal, but everything about those old cartoons are awesome. Johnny Quest cracks me up.
My favorite show right now is Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. I've watched some episodes here and there, and they make me laugh so hard. Honestly.. Adult Swim on Cartoon Network has the funniest shows. Period. Harvey Birdman is an Attorney at a law firm, and he tries various cases (which he loses). The cast of the show is made up of Hanna-Barbera characters, adding to the ridiculous nature of the show. Stephen Colbert voices the character Phil Ken Sebben. Hilarious show in the classic 15 minute format.
