sandwich

I really want a panini press. I don't know what it is but the those toasty, crispy sandwiches are the best things in the universe. Fill it with all kinds of meat, every animal imaginable, and add the finest cheeses and press it down and BAM! The best sandwich in the universe.

In my quest of the best sandwiches imaginable, I've found this site: http://www.sandwichproject.co.uk/
with almost 3,000 sandwiches to choose from, this site is a great place to start constructing a great sandwich. Honestly, the sky is the limit.

I wish there were better places to eat around here. A long time ago I reviewed most of the crappy sandwich places around here... Honestly, I live in franchise hell. I'd have to drive an hour to reach some of the best deli's in Salt Lake. There are no original locally owned places that really melt my face in terms of awesome sandwich bliss. If I'm ignoring something important, I plead to the masses to point me in the right direction and give me a sandwich.

Ohhhh...Jason's Deli in Orem, fantastic panini' also, Zuppa's a Greek restaurant just down the hill in Provo, you know it, in front of that store I won't mention the name that you used to work for, anyways, they have fantastic panini's. I love those as well...so so yummy. Have you had a Sensuous Sandwhich before?? They are good along the terms of a meaty sandwich sub style. My old roommate Jenn had a panini maker, I would make peanut but and jam panini's...just because I could, I think she got it at Bed Bath and Beyond...try that out. If you can't tell, i like sandwiches.

that is supposed to be butter, not but, I don't enjoy peanut but sandwiches. I type to fast when I'm excited and hungry for sandwiches.

Zuppa's is one of my favorite restaurants! Davy, we should go there really soon.

Zupa's is ok, though I wouldn't call it a Greek restaurant. Overpriced. Places like that that kind of bother me because they are too close to the heart of evil Provo... which means standing in line too long and no where to sit. People only eat at Sensuous Sandwiches to hit on the seventeen year old blondes that work there. I didn't think their sandwiches were any better than a crappy Subway.

Zupppa's was more of a salad place anyway.

Fine Mr. Negative, I just was giving you some options...

Love the panini's of Einstein bagel!

Hate zupas.. but the soups are ok.

Sensuous sandwich is way better than subway however they don't have a meatball so i have to take away at least 10 points for that.

Never been to Jason's deli.. ill have to try that.

and provo REALLY IS the heart of evil..

and yes i still wish that the new york burrito.. (which has been my favorite place to eat longer than any other place) .. would get hit by a large meteor that would decimate any evidence of the worst service in history..

and its so true.. im so bored of all the places to eat around here.. its getting kinda depressing.

however I did start up a new contract with winder dairy.. so im excited to have the best milk on the planet delivered to me every friday.. thats sweet..

This has no relevance to sandwiches but word on the street is the cheesecake factory is coming to slc. I dont know if its true or not but that would be awesome!

Einstein bagel's is pretty good if the crazy manager isn't trying to cram cookies down your throat by "sweeting the deal!!!"

Cheesecake Factory opens in November up in Murray, according to the official website... I hate how they mess with our minds, but the cheesecake is dang good.

Natalie Kay said...

First of all, you wrote "sweeting the deal." What exactly is sweeting?

Second, can we go to the grand opening of the Cheesecake Factory? You know it's my favorite place in the entire world (next to Disney World, of course).

Hey Garit, remember when we went to the Cheesecake Factory in Vegas? SO DELICIOUS!

Sorry ya'll but I hate Cheesecake Factory. It must be that I hate cheesecake and the title makes me shutter. Acutally, I heard that the reason they haven't come to Utah in so long is because their menu has alcohol first and that is against some law here or something???? We'll have to check the menu when they come. I know I'll get roped into going with someone to lunch there sooner or later. I just haven't found anything there that has knocked me out of the booth ya know.

Um Davy....are you a Tenney's fan? I only like it because our old neighbors and good friends (Kevin and Bethany Tenney) own it, so I guess I am biased. I love their "Dream" sandwich. Yummy. Good fries too. Little pricey though. :) Hasta.

p.s. your blog reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. That's a good thing ya know. :)

They have like a 40 page menu! How can you dislike it just cuz of the cheesecake..

Next time you go.. get the pot stickers right off the bat..

then order crusted chicken romano (i like to get it with white sauce)

since you hate cheesecake order a different dessert but I like to get that lemon raspberry cream cheesecake.

They have every kind of food you can think of. So im amazed to hear of someone who doesn't like that place.. there is something for everyone..

I think that's one of the main things that bugs me. They have meatloaf right next to Thanksgiving turkey dinner with every pasta you could imagine with all sorts of foreign objects in them. All of that food thrown in together like that.....feels like leftovers. I have a simple and bland palate so all of the nonsense on the menu gives me anxiety.

As far as dessert....hate cheesecake, don't like chocolate, allergic to nuts, not a big ice cream fan. If they sold Lehi Bakery doughnuts....I would come around. Wow, I sound like a picky little spoiled girl don't I? What's wrong with me?

Natalie Kay said...

Yum... Lehi Bakery! Remember when we would go to the bakery back door at 3 am and they would give us free doughnuts. Do they still do that?

"feels like leftovers." haha

I don't know what you're talking about!?

"I have a simple and bland palate so all of the nonsense on the menu gives me anxiety."

Well im very sad to hear it.. I think you're my polar opposite.. I think good food is the biggest reason I came to earth in the first place.. anyway.. maybe you should just stick to ramen noodles and baked potatoes and save a bundle on the grocery bill. plus not a lot of anxiety at wal-mart.

"As far as dessert....hate cheesecake, don't like chocolate, allergic to nuts, not a big ice cream fan. If they sold Lehi Bakery doughnuts....I would come around. Wow, I sound like a picky little spoiled girl don't I? What's wrong with me?"

thats the saddest story i ever heard!

I am glad you like lehi bakery though.

oh... one more thing.. i dont like chocolate either. unless we are talkin chocolate milk.. sweet ambrosia i love chocolate milk.

Ashley McKinnon said...

I LOVE CHOCOLATE MILK!!! It's only because I can control the amount of quick I put in. I'm not a big fan of the pre-made but I will put up with it. I promise I'm not completely retarted. I do like a lot of things. We'll have to visit the Cheesecake Factory when they open in Nov and you can all prove me wrong. :)

You don't know me, but I just ordered 6 dozen Lehi Bakery doughnuts for my birthday party tomorrow b/c of the comments on this blog--
here's hoping they're good!
